What a beautiful picture !! Yesterday I tried capturing a picture of Cookie from the dandelions' perspective...but she ATE them !!
Does it have to be "your" donkey's braying, or can anyone make a wish? I just love this !! The odds are much better than "wishing upon a star" me-thinks :)
Given that it's almost a certainty that a donkey will bray at breakfast time, especially if you're a few minutes late, the potential for wishes is endless... :)
I think it can be any donkey. I should set up an audio cam in the mornings and broadcast it here.
j, I remember after we went out west a few years back I read Brighty of the Grand Canyon to my children, and we all commented that we wished we had a little donkey. My daughter drew a lovely picture of a donkey that I framed and hung in our old house, and again when we moved here. It looks exactly like Rafer Johnson, and whenever I see it, I think how it foreshadowed reality.
MiKael, I wish I'd been able to record this morning's braying session. It's not often they both get going, but they did, and the number of wishes that could have been made would be staggering!

Great picture! I love the proverb, of course it has to be true how could it not with those sweet little guys around.

Arlene, I know - they are too sweet not to also bring good fortune with them. :)
he couldn't be sweeter! waking up to that every morning... seems like the wish may have already come true :-)
He looks so sweet with flowers all around his face.
I never heard this saying before but broadcasting it would be fun. We could all get wishes going.
Absolutely true, straight from the donkey's mouth!
