Thank you! The vet was here today and we are thinking he may have an abscess in right hind which is just exacerbating things in general with the EPM flare. That plus chiro found really jammed up pelvis stuff on Saturday which she fixed. He enjoyed his acupuncture today and the Legend came in so the vet grabbed a bottle to bring with her so he got that injection too. In the world of public mental health with multi-need clients we used to call this kind of treatment plan “wrap-around services.” Definitely what we’re doing right now for the Big Handsome Bay. He is also going onto 11 days of a different NSAID to kick that up a notch and then rotate back onto his Equioxx.
I’m hoping for good improvement and remaining calm and patient and so grateful that for now his spirit remains good and his norm.
