Lovely, lovely, lovely billie. :D

Val self-exercised today as well... archy neck, floaty trot, flaggy tail, which was convenient as we had to tolerate a ferocious cold wind.

Please tell me that kitchen window picture was from the summertime, otherwise I'm crazy jealous of the tasty looking selection of variously ripe tomatoes on the sill.

Thanks, C - the photos with my column are not mine - I don't have any control over them - I was envious of those tomatoes too! Not quite tomato season here, that's for sure - down to 29 tonight. Hope you and Val are happy and well!

Great story. How privileged you are to be able to watch a morning show of elegance and spirit from your house.

Thanks, A - I love being able to look out almost any window and seeing one of the herd members, if not all of them. :)

That's lovely! You described it so well I could picture it as I read it. Magical moments make all the hard work worth while.
