the Irish RM

A while back Sheaffer recommended this television series to me after I posted some foxhunting photos. I finally finished my second watching of West Wing on Netflix and tonight popped in the first disk of the Irish RM's first season.

Oh my goodness! Episode one gets off to a slow start, but once you hit episode two it is off and running.

I love it!

Thank you, Sheaffer!

Found this for a little preview in case you're considering checking it out:

Billie, thank you for that - but my goodness, all that running! I'm exhausted just watching it. If you ever have the chance to read the book you will find many more layers and some wickedly funny writing.

Arlene, I quite enjoyed the first three episodes - have as many more to watch before I send the disk back and get the next one. Very funny.

Sheaffer, I can see Redford joining the fray, but Rafer would stand back shaking his head at all that nonsense over a fox.

I will definitely check out the book. What fun!

That takes me back! It was on TV here when I was in school. (I feel rather old...)

Claire, I wondered if you had seen it!

Maire, I just love it. As it turned out, I was mistaken that I had 3 more episodes, so now I have to wait for the next disk. The special features are good though, and getting me through until tomorrow when I can send this one back. :)

thanks for the info - i will have to check it out! and this clip brings me back! if i can get one of my guys fit this year, i may give hunting another try - i'd like to find a drag hunt in our area (since we looked after those orphaned fox cubs a few years ago, i couldn't imagine a live hunt) or at least some hunter paces!

(ps - i just ordered your novels - they sounds great! but give me some time to read them - i've got 3 other books going at the moment, so it may take a while to get to them :-)

j, I think you'll like the show - some of the riding is atrocious, but otherwise it's really fun.

And thank you for buying the books! No rush at all of course on reading them, but let me know when you do, what you think. Even if criticism - I can take it! :)
