Billie, eyes and ears on constant alert, one watching the old year depart, one watching the new one arrive. And aren't they well camouflaged in that landscape?! Such handsome lads.
Sheaffer, I noticed the camouflaging effect too - it's funny because Rafer, when you see him in another setting, does NOT seem to have those tannish bits on the face that show up in this photo.
Now I need to know: are donkeys also chameleons? How could I not know this already? When I need to find these two they always manage to "disappear" into the landscape - scares me to death on a regular basis.
