Billie, eyes and ears on constant alert, one watching the old year depart, one watching the new one arrive. And aren't they well camouflaged in that landscape?! Such handsome lads.
Sheaffer, I noticed the camouflaging effect too - it's funny because Rafer, when you see him in another setting, does NOT seem to have those tannish bits on the face that show up in this photo.
Now I need to know: are donkeys also chameleons? How could I not know this already? When I need to find these two they always manage to "disappear" into the landscape - scares me to death on a regular basis.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment - I love reading them and respond as often as I can. I also love comments that add to the original post, so feel free to share your own experiences, insights, and thoughts.
Donkey yin and yang :) Super cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture for covering both sides. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteC, that's what I was thinking too - they keep things balanced here, for sure.
ReplyDeleteArlene, now I want to change the title of the post to: The Year of the Donkey. :)
ReplyDeleteSomething about the expressions says "got it covered" to me. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat was exactly what I thought when I saw it. They keep their eyes on everything.
