Billie, please keep reporting on the signs of spring. I am living entirely vicariously through your eyes. We cannot bathe in our water trough - it's still frozen solid. Today it snowed sideways into my ears. No flies, though. Oh, and I'm intrigued with the idea of all those paths you've made.
I did see a fly over the weekend and a few lady bugs. I can't wait to start planting and working in the garden again. We were just discussing fly predators the other day. Must get them ordered soon.
Arlene, we have ladybugs inside but I forgot about them!
Our fly predators are set to arrive starting at the end of this month, but the ones I'm seeing now are already here, presumably from 3 years of using them. I increased the amount and the frequency last year, and went longer, and it seems to have been a good plan.

Oh dear, Sheaffer - snowing sideways! I'll keep my eyes and ears open. Right now we have night insect noises coming through the open windows.
You would love strolling my paths, I think. I have several sites for some appropriate statuary, but I have to find it first!
