Color is still peaking in central NC

Every glimpse is a delight right now in central North Carolina. Everywhere I go I'm seeing trees like this, colors ranging from deep yellow to brilliant orange and red. Absolutely glorious time of year.

  1. That's one of the best features of Autumn! Love the colors in the landscape. We have a few trees hanging in there but it's mostly all gone until next year.

  2. It feels like we're peaking a little late this year. Summer seemed to go on late too. I also love the winter colors, or lack thereof - the dark trees against a pale pink winter sky makes me almost as happy as autumn's mad color song.

  3. The reds this year are eyeball-popping!

  4. I guess the dry weather has really made a difference in the color!
