I was out at the barn this morning pushing the wheelbarrow. The wheel was squeaking loudly and then suddenly there were TWO squeaky wheelbarrows and then THREE. Totally confused, I stopped and listened. Numbers two and three were in fact not wheelbarrows, but donkeys!
I ask you - is the wheelbarrow mimicking donkeys or are donkeys mimicking wheelbarrows?
Something to ponder on this chilly (but sunshiny, oh so happy to type that!) day.
Personally, I LOVE squeaky donkeys!

LOL, Marty - we do too!!! :) Big hugs from Redford and Rafer Johnson to you!
ReplyDeleteThose talented donkeys ought to be on TV with their own show! Glad to hear someone's got sunshine. We've got about a foot of snow yesterday with plenty of wind and below zero temps.
ReplyDeleteOh, A, what a mess! We got another round of rain so it's muddy again, but the snow would be worse for sure. Enjoy the beauty while it's there and I hope you and the herd stay warm and that you get some clearing and warmer weather very soon.
ReplyDeleteThere's a donkey at our barn, and he tends to sound like a squeaky door, when he's not in full bray!
ReplyDeleteOh, Kate - that is hilarious - ours go into full bray too but Rafer Johnson squeaks at the end of his full bray like a series of exclamation points!
