Marty! I was trying to send this to you earlier today but didn't have your email on my iPad - so glad you got to see it. :)
I have no idea how little Rafer could possibly be 7 years old, but I am glad donkeys live a long life. My plan is that he and Redford will be my walkers when I'm 90. :)
They are as happy and as clever as always, these two. I need to put up the photo I took of Rafer I put on FB yesterday - you'll like it. I'll send it to you now. Hope all is well on Elevenses Farm - would love to come see you guys one day and visit all the critters.
Thank you, C. We are finally down to one zucchini plant now - the scalloped squash still going and then yellow just starting up. I staggered planting so we wouldn't be inundated with all at once. :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment - I love reading them and respond as often as I can. I also love comments that add to the original post, so feel free to share your own experiences, insights, and thoughts.
Wow! SEVEN!! How did that happen?

Happy Birthday little guy! He so adorable. Bet he had a fun birthday. Today is my birthday too, so I'm in good company.
ReplyDeleteA, happy birthday to you!! Daughter made zucchini horse cookies and the herd gobbled them down!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to RJ (and A)!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the double donkey walker image lol.
Zucchini horse cookies sound great - using up the abundance from your garden? :D
