I like SmartPak and the products they sell but cannot support a company that supports the training methods used and taught by Clinton Anderson.
It's a sad day when companies that make their living off of horses fail to put the horse first.
Couldn't agree more. Companies, whatever their marketing hype, are about only one thing - profit - and if an association with someone will make them more money, they'll do it, unless those who object make a stink big enough to make them think they'll lose money by doing it . . .
ReplyDeleteWow! Smart Pak really dropped the ball on this one with their reply and their promoting of this guy. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this before I placed my order for supplements last week. I'll have to find another company soon because I won't use them anymore unless they drop their support of this jerk.
ReplyDeleteA bummer all the way around... :(
ReplyDeleteOutrageous! My recent order from SmartPak just arrived. It will be the last order from them unless they discontinue this association.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely let them know what you think - they need to hear it from as many people as possible, especially if you are ongoing customers.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you in not supporting this company anymore if they are going to take people like this man in. To state horses my die on his site is a huge red flag. I am ashsmed that he calss himself an Aussie. He is nothing but a ego driven bully like a lot of other NH names that are out there. Stop using these quick fix methods of training and start looking for programs that are lifestyle, that build bond, respect and love thru peer attachment. Please hve a look at Friendship Training and support the people that do really have the horse as priority and not greed or ego
ReplyDeleteThanks, Wanda. Support real trainers who are not treating horses like something on a conveyor belt.
