  2. billie - thank you so much. Molly has made us watch this over and over, sighing in wonderment and admiration. I had no idea there were more than three or four Haflingers in the world and here was an assembly of titanic proportions (one could even say tonnage too great to calculate). The Woman was pleased by the very happy, smailing human who retrieved the dropped flag. All horse assemblies should be this cheerful.

Off topic - but do you live anywhere near Chapel Hill?

  3. Sheaffer, I do live near C. Hill. Oh my gosh - have they offered you a professor emeritus position in the philosophy department? I knew it! If so you must just come live with us and I will be happy to take you on your daily commute to your office in the high tower of academe!!

  4. billie - I am considering a position as Professor Emeritus in Donkeynomics. I see Rafer in the position of Junior Professor and Redford as a very active field researcher...

The Idiot, I mean the Woman can't find your email address, I wonder could you just drop her a line and remind her? Thank you so much. Of course, I know it perfectly well but refuse to tell her.

  5. Sheaffer, do you think it will work if I withhold the email address until she provides you with Herself as typist for a new blog post?

I know a lot of us are wanting to read your latest missive!
