tree of life Bay

This morning in my email inbox, I found the most lovely photo of Keil Bay, titled Handsome Bay, from my husband, who must have snuck this photo in sometime over the past week or so.

I kept looking at it in between checking email, reading blogs, etc. and then I saw the real picture within the picture.

It's Keil Bay, with the tree of life coming right up out of his back. What an amazing photo, and so very appropriate for my handsome, amazing horse. Thanks, Matthew.

    Truly a beautiful picture. It draws you in so you can almost feel the air and sunlight. Very peaceful with the pure essence of spring. It is a bonus having a great photographer at your disposal!!!

    You really have exceptionally beautiful animals...the daughter is a cutie as well. She looks very kind.

    Bing is well on the mend. He trotted sound up to the fence this morning, ears back with the give me my hay right now attitude. Thank you again for the information.

    Whew - so glad Bing is sound and back to his usual self. It's scary when they get injured or just seem off. I constantly have to remind myself when in one of my equine-offness-induced frenzies that *I* don't walk around in perfect health and mobility 24/7... and neither do they!

    Thank you for the very kind words. Of course we think all our herd members are absolutely brilliant, stunning, and yes, sometimes downright mischievous.. :)

    My daughter is exceedingly kind and has the patience of a saint when it comes to animals. So many people have the need and inclination to react quickly when dealing with horses, and she can do that when needed, but she also has the ability to stay very quiet and soft *without* reacting, and I think the horses respond well to that.

    beautiful photo. he is a handsome boy, and i love the way the light just catches his contours - reminds me of the sun radiating through and around a cloud to make a 'silver lining' :-)
