As in the planet, not our backs.
The chiropractor was here this a.m. and both Cody and Apache Moon are looking good. A few minor adjustments but nothing at all major. They're happy now because they get a day off to enjoy the bliss.
Otherwise, what a week!
So far my father has been admitted to the hospital, the pump in the back field froze and burst last night, the washing machine will not agitate or spin.
And of course it's full of towels that are now soaking in water and will have to be taken outside and hung on the deck railing to drip dry.
Taking deep breaths and rolling with the wave.

Yikes! Hang in there. The planets will realign soon.
Thanks, Linda.
I just noticed that the word of the day is conniption - as in fit. LOL!
Well, at least the horses were good. That's something. Wet soggy towels are the only time washimg machines break, aren't they?
Hope things turn around soon.
LOL, MiKael - I just got the cold cardboard towels in from the deck after shaking the caterpillars off first.
Repairman is coming Friday so everyone here is on alert to hang towels and not use more than necessary.
Pump is fixed.
Stressful visit at the hospital.
Billie - I hope your dad feels better. My father was sick for many years, and it is incredibly stressful. Lucky for your dad and your mom that you are there with them.
Seems everything always happens at once. Hope your father is doing better and your moons are in alignment soon.
Thanks, Arlene and Victoria.
He has moved to a rehab facility as of today and although better in some ways (hydrated, treated for a UTI and anemia) he is not able to feed himself right now and has lost a lot of his ability to be comfortable. The rehab center is not great so far, which adds to the stress.
I wish we had an in-law apt. or even a spare bedroom downstairs. I'm not sure that would be the best solution either, but it would be nice to have the option.
