After many months of failed attempts to photograph the crows and ravens, I actually succeeded. Sneaking, crafty, using the little zoom feature, but here you go. You'll have to zoom in to see them. I wish I could share the audio of them calling when they realized I was there.
Something big must be about to happen.
Addendum, afternoon: They're outside my garret window calling and calling. I think they enjoyed the game. (or have a message, or both)

Congratulations on finally capturing the sneaky fellows!
Thank you - they led me on a stealth mission from the side field down the hill and into the front. I think the dogwood screen on the front porch helped - they knew I was there, but couldn't quite see me.
I haven't seen them around today!
I have a big smile on my face right now just thinking about it. . .
My mother always said that crows around meant her wandering brother was coming for a visit, and sure enough, he usually showed up not long after they did, I wonder what your crows are gathering for?
The crows have been associated with my books for several years now, which is why I have been so obsessed with taking photos of them. :)
If I get to interpret, and I suppose I do, I think what this gathering means is that some book news is coming.
This morning I woke up to a crow calling loudly outside the bedroom window. Then while doing my morning barn chores, there was another one in the tree right by the barn, calling over and over until I went out there. Then he flew away.
