The cast is keeping the bone stable, and his putting weight on the casted leg is keeping the other side from developing sympathetic laminitis.<BR/><BR/>I'm actually more worried about when we take the cast off - that's when the time out of the stall might get dicey. <BR/><BR/>One thing at a time, though.
