I find myself calling him "the little bear" which I suspect will always be how I refer to him, no matter how big he gets!

He is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. They tend to be a bit smaller than the Cardigan Welsh Corgis, who also have tails.

He is very much like a powder puff. His tan coloring is starting to come in a little - in the end he will be a tri-color. I have a photo I'll put up later which might very well do The Woman in, so make sure you get your dinner first. :)billiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18187141867284800597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31257856.post-12129138026401651122010-08-09T14:09:43.723-05:002010-08-09T14:09:43.723-05:00Billie, he does have a definite ursine air about h...Billie, he does have a definite ursine air about his small person - will his name remain "Bear"? Kyra and The Bear - could there be a book in there somewhere? The woman is having trouble functioning and keeps saying "ooooooooh the puppy, ooooooooo the puppy..." I fear for her remaining sanity. Is he a Pembroke Corgi and is that the same as a Welsh Corgi? My dog knowledge is limited but I'm always interested in the origins of things. I dispute Herself's notion that he is a cross between a powder puff and some thistledown.ponymaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02996833096239732307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31257856.post-1800848324204799522010-08-09T06:35:54.202-05:002010-08-09T06:35:54.202-05:00Gale, we think so too! :)Gale, we think so too! :)billiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18187141867284800597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31257856.post-35116446232537004112010-08-09T06:35:09.718-05:002010-08-09T06:35:09.718-05:00Arlene, he is now trotting all over the house, and...Arlene, he is now trotting all over the house, and knows where all the important places are. It's such a hoot to hear the little "click click click click" across the wood floors - Kyra's are much louder, of course, so the mini ones are new.billiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18187141867284800597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31257856.post-50928089750098075052010-08-09T06:33:05.773-05:002010-08-09T06:33:05.773-05:00Claire, it's true. Then it got less expensive. Then technology exploded and we're where we are today. It's pretty amazing.billiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18187141867284800597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31257856.post-73113099548552336042010-08-09T06:01:59.443-05:002010-08-09T06:01:59.443-05:00Oh!
